Saturday August 12, was one of the loveliest days we have had this summer. The perfect day for a picnic in Martha Boers wonderful back yard Garden. WOW!! What a beautiful creative atmosphere for all the special creative doll artists that attended.

The garden was buzzing with laughter and talk, sharing of ideas and of things to come. The day was filled with creative energy and inspiration. I for one could not get enough of Martha's show case of dolls, dolls and more dolls ( not to mention the art that filled the house) I was dazzled by the many talents that family has! As the day progressed and everyone was arriving, the excitement kept growing. We shared stories, laughter and our friendship s grew a little closer.

We had a very informative show and tell with lots of inspiration. The food was very good (there are some great cooks in our midst). Later in the day we made a pin doll that Martha set us up for. The many different ideas and designs were amazing! What a fulfilling day we had. Thank you Martha for hosting a great CDAA Picnic.
