Two Fairies on Mushroom

Two little fairies spend the morning sunning themselves on a large mushroom. Big sister keeps watch and listens to her little sister's stories.

Media: Fairies entirely of Super Sculpey on a wire and aluminum foil armature. Both have curly red mohair. Skirts of blue cheesecloth, pale blue stamens, and blue flower petals. Wings are sewn of organdy and painted with acrylics.

Props: Giant mushroom is sculpted of Paperclay over an aluminum foil armature, and painted with acrylics. Texture on mushroom is rolled oats. Smaller mushrooms are purchased. Bug is handmade of Super Sculpey, painted with acrylics.
