Far Away Folks

The theme for this winter’s pin-doll swap was Far Away Folks: people from lands across this world and the universe.  Costumers found this topic attractive for the possibility of creating Scottish kilts, East Indian saris, Polynesian grass skirts or Inuit parkas. Folklore enthusiasts could travel to the lands of Irish little people, Scandinavian valkyrie, Norwegian trolls, or Greek harpies. History buffs could visit the court of Louis the 16th, the Ying dynasty, the land of the midnight sun, or pitch their tent in the Black Forest.  Science fiction members could wander the universe because aliens are really far away folks!
