Lady Elaine

The maid of Astolat, in love with Lancelot, became guardian of his shield. She bore him a son, Galahad, who would also become a great knight.

Media: Head, hands and feet of Super Sculpey, on a wire armature with a cloth body. She has long brown mohair, with a circlet of flowers. She has pale blue brocade under-sleeves with lace cuffs. Her underskirt is pink with blue and gold trim. The dress is purple brocade with black, blue and gold trim. It laces up the front with a fine gold cord. Her belt is made from golden bracelets.

Props: She holds a bouquet of fabric flowers and a single rose in her right hand.
