1 1/2 Day Workshop

This is the purrrfect class for that cat lover. In this workshop students will learn how to sculpt a cat head and set of front paws for a 14- 16 inch cat.

The process of sculpting a cat head and paws is taught step-by-step; from building up the form on a wire armature and then adding clay to create the features. Students will also be shown how to paint their cat heads, add whiskers, and by the end of the second day, they will be ready to create their own favourite cat character!

9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a 1 hour lunch break
9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday
(Light lunch provided)

Prep Work:
There is no pre-class work for this workshop

Supply List:
A supply list will be sent out to all students prior to class. The list of items needed for this workshop is minimal. Items include: Super Sculpey clay, aluminum foil, florist tape, paint brushes and sculpting tools. Students may also bring a photo of their own cat as reference for painting.

Skill Level: Beginner
This class is open to all levels, and no sculpting experience in needed.
