2 Day Workshop

In this workshop students will venture into the world of sculpted armour. Using Marianne's technique, they will learn how to sculpt a 7-9 inch, free standing gnome like character with an armour helmet, gloves, tail and boots.

The process of sculpting this little character is taught step-by-step; from building up the form for the head on a wire armature and then adding clay to create the features. Using patterns, and with the guidance of Marianne, students will sculpt the face, hands and various armour pieces. Figures will be baked in class, and students will paint the face and armour.
