The hero of Shakespeare's 14th-century Castilian tale of a young man who marries a very strong and fiery woman, and then proceeds to tame her: The Taming of the Shrew.

Media: Head, hands and feet of Super Sculpey, on a wire armature with a cloth body. He has brown mohair. Wearing black velour pants and brown leather boots with a gold buckle. Wearing a tunic of wine red brocade with wine and gold trim, matching short puffed sleeves, and long red and gold brocade sleeves, over a white cotton shirt, He wears a reddish brown fringed sash, with a purchased metal sword. His cloak is wine red lined with gold lame, and tied with a gold cord. He holds a black velvet hat with red and blue feathers.
